Frank sinatra

I was responsible for the art direction, design, and naming of Long Ago, Far Away. The title shaped both the concept and the visuals: “long ago” reflects the 1943–1951 live recordings, while “far away” refers to Sinatra’s Palm Springs home, Twin Palms, where he stayed between performances during this era. The cover artwork, painted in my Muse style, takes the perspective of the Twin Palms’ piano-shaped pool, tying place and performance together. A soft blue palette evokes the desert sky, grounding the design in distance and memory while keeping it intimately tied to Sinatra’s life.

This edition is produced as a five-record vinyl book with bound sleeves, nodding to the early record albums of the 1940s.
